Small Group Fellowship Opportunities

Avery offers a diverse array of small groups catering to various interests. Should you not discover a group that captures your interest, please inform us. We are committed to nurturing and growing our small group ministry.

Sunday 9

Sunday 9 is a bible study which covers a range of topics of interest to our congregation.  We meet in Fellowship Hall from 9- 10 am during the Fall and Winter.

Pathfinders

Current Bible Study:

Our new study is The Truth in True Crime: What Investigating Death Teaches us about the Meaning of Life. Why are we here? How should I live? Who am I? Every worldview, directly or indirectly, offers answers to these questions, but the answers offered in a Christian worldview are true. This study is a different kind of apologetic, pointing to how Christianity best explains life as we experience it. We meet the second and fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 pm, beginning on January 12. Our first meeting will be at Steve and Susie Nielsen’s, 11618 S. 39th Street.

 Recent Studies:

“Faith in Hostile Times” by Berni Dymet

Holy Habits” by Derwin Gray

“Is Genesis History?”, hosted by Del Tackett, creator of the Truth Project.
